Day 1: Reception at the Airport of Cusco and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon 2 rides on the upper part of Cusco.
Wayo and his team will be exited to give you the welcome at the airport of Cusco and start with this great adventure. After we give you the welcome with a coca tea, we will be transferred to the hotel for the check-in and start with the tour. Our guides, expert mechanics, will help you build your bike and will check that you haven’t put any part wrong and in a few minutes everything will be ready.
We will go for lunch near Main Plaza and then we get ready for our two rides in Cusco. The first trail is a secret trail that we know and it’s very fun because we will have to make our own line through the mountain, the real style of freeriding. Then we will connect with different trails that goes to the different small villages on the upper part of Cusco and we will continue descending until we reach the main plaza in Cusco. The last part of this trail is very fun riding over a Eucalyptus forest with lots of roots, jumps and other stunts. Our bus will be waiting for us at the bottom part to take us again to the upper part of Cusco for our second ride. This time, the trail is a local riders trail with lots of jumps, steps and lots of fun sections.
On both rides we will pass over the technique and practice on the obstacles we find on the trails. At the end of the day we return to our hotel and we get ready to know Cusco by night.
Día 2: Misminay-Maras y Megavalanche.
Early in the morning we leave Cusco and we go towards Sacred Valley. After approximately one hour drive, we reach the village of Misminay located above the round terraces of Moray. We will start with a nice and mellow descent with spectacular views of the Sacred Valley, the round terraces of Moray and the glaciers on the other side of the valley. This ride is a mix of downhill with some climbs passing by the village of Maras. On the trail we will find different obstacles with a moderate difficulty where we can practice our technique.
Our bus will be waiting for us at the bottom of this trail to take us to our second ride, the Megavalanche trail in Ollantaytambo.
We will have lunch in Ollantaytamboand then we continue our way to the top of the mountains at 4,350 meters to reach the start of this trail that has it all! Flowy sections as well as rock gardens, jumps, mud, river crossings, etc. We will be stopping on the different obstacles to practice and show you the way it’s done. At the end of the day we return to our hotel in Sacred Valley.
Day 3: Patacancha.
Early in the morning after a nutritious breakfast, we take our van to go to the Patacancha Valley and climb to the top at 4,500 meters. Today we will have an spectacular day with amazing views that you can only have on top of the Andes and close to the glaciers! This trail is a real Enduro ride that we found back in 2007. We will be riding over an ancient Inca trail and also we will have to find our own way on the mountain to descend the mountain. There are small rivers we will be crossing as well as some rocky sections. Halfway our ride, we make a stop in the village of Huilloc for lunch and meet a local family. After lunch, we continue our ride and we start climbing to the Inca fortress of Pumamarca, maybe the oldest Inca fortress! From this place we have one of the best views of the trip and then we start descending to Ollantaytambo on one of the best trails for mountain biking!
Day 4: Lares Downhill and Cusco.
Today is our last day of the Enduro Clinic and we will ride the famous Lares Downhill. This is an amazing Inca trail that starts at the top of the mountains at 4,400 meters of elevation and descends following the entire valley until the village of Calca at the bottom of Sacred Valley. This is a very flowy and fun trail. Once in Calca, we will take our bus to return to Cusco and make our last descend before you take your flight back home.

You are traveling to Peru and on the areas we are going to be riding our bikes there are no or very little options to buy spare parts for your bike. First, we suggest you make a deep clean and maintenance to your bike and check for worn parts such as chain, brake pads, cables and housings. Make sure everything is working properly, especially your brakes. Bring also new tires. We suggest Maxxis High Rollers 2.30/2.35 width and extra protection on the sides (EXO). Tubeless system is also suggested. If you are using tubeless, check it has liquid inside and it is not dry. We carry some bike parts on our tours but there are some parts that are very specific to each bike so you should consider bringing the following parts with you:
• Extra derailleur hanger.
• 2 sets of brake pads.
• 2 Tubes, patches and pump. (We suggest putting tubeless system).
• Some special tools for your bike and a bike multi-tool.
• Back pack with water container. You will need to take your food, tools, water and jacket mainly.
• Rain Jacket, waterproof, for cold mountain weathers.
• Light thermal jacket. This will keep you warm if the temperature drops considerable.
• 4 sets of riding clothes.
• Helmet, gloves and safety glasses. Full face helmet is optional.
• Knee pads. Elbow pads are optional.
• Two pair of riding shoes.
• Sun block. Recommended 50 SPF or more.
• Insect repellent.
